Our headquarter is based in Santa Cruz, California USA and has started its business in 2004. By combining the best aspects of a traditional motorcycle with today’s most advanced technology, Zero Motorcycles produces high performance electric motorcycles that are lightweight, efficient and fast off the line. Each motorcycle is optimized from the ground up to leverage the revolutionary Z-ForceTM electric powertrain and uses a specially designed rigid, aircraft-grade aluminum frame to minimize weight.
Zero Motorcycles is a pioneer and market leader of Advanced Electric Motorcycles. Though the market is still limited in volume the niches where people purchase electric vehicles are growing rapidly. Zero Motorcycles Europe has been founded over a year ago and currently has a European presence in 12 countries. Our European office is in Alkmaar and employs 8 FTE. We handle all import and distribution functions for the entire European region. Thanks to our continuous growth we are looking for enthusiastic professionals for the following positions.
Taking the lead in the European marketing team, this person will be responsible for driving marketing communications activity, primarily focused on generating sales leads and raising brand awareness through PR across the primary Sales regions Germany, France and UK. A very senior role, therefore relevant automotive experience is a must. This person has to be a multitask personality being able to work with three different PR agencies across Europe. Experience with Salesforce system is an advantage.
Customer Service Department Head
As Service Manager Europe you are responsible for the direction and supervision in the provision of all aspects of Customer Support, Field and Technical Service for our customers and the post market support of our product lines within Europe . You implement business initiatives that will lead to higher levels of department efficiency and customer satisfaction. Align with cross functional management you support new product development, product launch, product life cycle management and the overall improvement of service delivery as it pertains to meeting customer expectations in supporting the existing markets.
Logistics Operations Manager
Bachelor or Master educational level within logistics, business management or related area. Practical experience in the area of logistics in an international environment and expert knowledge in warehouse operational processes and logistics flows. Good experience in business principles in multiple disciplines, like forecasting, supply management, inventory management, order management and distribution. Good understanding of ERP systems. Experienced general project management and business analyst skills.
Field Service Engineer
Experienced Motorcycle mechanic role with basic electric experience. Both for managing the day to day demo fleet and supporting the dealernetwork in our key markets. Also supporting our distributor network throughout Europe with trainings and case issues.
Experienced Office Manager with Financial and project management experience. A hands-on all-rounder that takes charge of all officerelated tasks in an environment best be described as informal, social and hardworking. Day to day responsible for reporting, supporting marketing and financial department on a daily basis. Work on projects for external events.
Country Managers, German and French Regions
Establish contacts with major top retailers. Responsible for defining and implementing the strategy in accordance with the Corporate guidelines. You will develop tailor made propositions for these verticals and or geographical areas. Support our partner with support programs and provide the organization with the necessary market information and analysis to improve decision-making. All activities should be aimed at gaining market share and providing our client with a profitable growth of sales volume.
For all the mentioned functions:
• Industry experience is required
• A high level of independence with plenty of day to day variety
• ‘Start up’ attitude; hands on mentality, no 9-5 attitude
• 5-8 years experience in each relevant position
• Interacting at a senior level with our USA Headquarter is often
required outside normal work hours
• Excellent communication skills in English are required, both verbal
and in writing. Our office language is English
• Salesforce and ERP experience is an advantage
• Being able to speak multiple languages is required
• Travel throughout Europe is required for all positions
