| Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) is the headquarters of the Yamaha Motor Company in Europe. The company is responsible for coordinating the marketing, sales and service activities of Yamaha Motor products. Main products are motorcycles and scooters (Powered Two Wheelers), marine outboard motors, inflatable boats, water vehicles, 4-wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, generators and snowmobiles. Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., where about 290 people are employed, is located at Schiphol-Rijk. For the Finance & Administration Group we are looking for a fulltime Risk and Compliance Management Officer The Risk and Compliance Management Officer is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing Risk Management and Compliance issues within the Yamaha Motor companies in the Netherlands and for coordinating the Risk & Compliance Management policies and projects in the subsidiary companies in Europe. Tasks and responsibilities: Advising management about risk management and compliance; Creating awareness of reputation and integrity risks and consequences of external laws and regulations, Yamaha Motor Corporate policy and strategy, company Code of Ethics and internal rules and codes; Creating sense of responsibility in order to prevent and reduce risks, to manage and to control them; Making analysis regarding Risk & Compliance Management in several areas, making proposals for improvement for management; Making recommendations and rules regarding Risk & Compliance Management; Initiating and monitoring activities based on the JSOX-programs and internal audits; Checking policies on Risk & Compliance Management issues, laws, regulation, codes etcetera; Following relevant developments in the field of Risk & Compliance Management; Setting up rules and guidelines together with (division) management; Actively creating the awareness and sense of responsibility about Risk & Compliance; Management by management, employees and other stakeholders. Profile of the suitable candidate: Higher Vocational or University background in the area of Business Management, Accountancy or Legal; Affinity with legislation Minimum three years experience in compliance, (operational) auditing, risk management and/or project management; Insight in company and business processes and procedures; Excellent communication skills on every level; Excellent knowledge of the English language in both word and writing; Able to monitor from a distance, analytical, persuasive and showing own initiative.
