| Vacature is reeds ingevuld Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) is the headquarters of the Yamaha Motor Company in Europe. The company is responsible for coordinating the marketing, sales and service activities of Yamaha Motor products. Main products are motorcycles and scooters (Powered Two Wheelers), marine outboard motors, inflatable boats, water vehicles, 4-wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, generators and snowmobiles. Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., where about 290 people are employed, is located at Schiphol-Rijk. For the Eastern Europe Division we are looking for candidates for the position of Area Manager Tasks and responsibilities: - Evaluate market requirements, develop and implement action plan to stimulate the Market and expand sales of Yamaha products (all products) in the following territories: Eastern Europe and Turkey. - Achieve budget figures (Sales, Product mix) in the concerned territories - Support and Stimulate local Distributor’s action, monitor Network development and marketing plan. - Support in the Product Marketing for Marine Products - Supply distributors with all the information and materials they need to successfully market the Yamaha products. - Reports to the Division Manager and assists him in the division reporting. Profile of the suitable candidate: - Experience on a bachelor level - Good experience in the consumer durables market and affinity with Motorcycles or Marine products are appreciated. - Dynamic self-starter with an open, creative mind and real practical skills - Comfortable in communicating at every level within a multicultural, international environment - Frequent international travel required as well as excellent communication skills in English. A working knowledge of one other Eastern European languages would be an asset.
