Functie

* Develop, determine and implement the Purchase & Inventory strategy for Non captive Parts and Accessories.
* Develop, educate and control Non captive Parts and Accessories suppliers conform worldwide Yamaha standards.
* Define and implement the purchase plan and the appropriate supplier strategy for the key sub groups.
* Regularly perform the supplier selection process in order to have an optimum and adequate supplier base, which can be invited for tendering in order to select the best Yamaha product.
* Negotiate with the selected suppliers the specific terms (cost, logistic, innovation and quality) and put these into a contract.
* Maintain, develop and further optimize the relationship with the supplier, to reduce the total costs, to improve the quality, to shorten the time to market and to make innovative and competitive products.
* Further develop and standardize the working methods & procedures and standards within the department.
* Devise and make month reports. Initiate and participate in occasional short and medium term projects.
* Guide, train, support, direct, motivate and check the staff members.

This position will operate in the After Sales Support Division and within the Purchase & Inventory Department we are looking for a fulltime.

# A relevant Higher Professional Education (preferably technical but not a must)
# Nevi I (must) and Nevi II (asset)
# At least 5 years working experience
# Good knowledge of Dutch and English both written and spoken
# Excellent negotioting and presentation skills
# Affinity with Yamaha products and some technical and logistics insight
# Managerial skills (no line management experience required).
# Solid relationship builder
# Pan European travel 10%
